Ahhhhh. I can just smell the Cheery Blossoms blooming… Just kidding. I’m in Chicago and that means we’re still enjoying our below freezing winter weather until about mid May. That doesn’t mean we can’t get into the colorful décor spirit! This Easter, I wanted the dinner table to have a rustic theme and to give it a little pop of color. I included shades of orange, green, and yellow. Since I was born into a Roman Catholic family, I wanted to include some traditional items that were blessed the day before Easter on the table: our mini basket, hand painted eggs, & a lamb made of sugar.

Check out my cultural Easter table décor!

Using chargers under your main dish plate will give your dinner table that elegant touch.

A great way to stay on budget is to use faux flowers for your centerpieces. They still give the similar “wow” factor that real flowers give.

A basket is a huge representation of Easter in my family & I had to figure out a way to include it on the table. I found a mini version & wrapped it in pastel colored ribbon.

Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box and incorporate random items into your table décor. This tea cup fits right into the Spring and Easter theme. I added a simple yellow flower that contrasts well with the pink.

Décor Tip: If you’re on a tight budget, plan out your décor in advance. This will give you time to look for random goodies at thrift stores, Goodwill, TJMaxx, HomeGoods, Antique Markets, etc. You’ll be so surprised at what you can find there! I personally had to teach myself to shop on a budget & I have been finding the most unique things at these places, one of which were these tea cups.

Hope this post gave you some inspiration for your future Spring table décor! It’s time to bring that Décor-ista out!
